I’m going to dial back the “crazy cat lady” in me, but I have to say that cats can be so cool! They are smarter and more affectionate than most people give them credit for. And believe it or not, you CAN teach them to do things, similar to how you can teach dogs to do things.
I don’t want to use the word “train” because as every dedicated cat person knows, you don’t actually train cats – they train you! I’m sure I’ll have a more detailed post on clicker training for cats in the near future, but for now, just take my word for it.
